The following information should answer some of your concerns about your child’s Baptism.
Saint Anthony’s celebrates the Sacrament of Baptism either on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday at 12:30 pm. A mutually convenient date is arranged either at a meeting and sometimes by telephone.
When parents are Baptizing their first child, a brief meeting is held with me to help clarify your understanding of this Sacrament and also to assure the proper documents are in order.
Normally two people serve as Godparents. Only one has to be a Roman Catholic who has been Baptized and received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The other must be a Baptized Christian. If both are Roman Catholic they ought to have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Please complete the information form by clicking this printable Baptismal Form and have the God-parents complete the appropriate items. When all of the data has been completed please return this entire brochure to me at the above address.
If you have any questions, please feel free to telephone the Rectory at 508-548-0108 or FAX 508-457-1723.
Sincerely,
(Rev.) William M. Costello Pastor
