Fr. Gerard Hebert Pastor, Parish
Community of Saint Anthony

In 1921 the Portuguese Immigrants of Falmouth requested from the Bishop of Fall River a priest to minister to their spiritual and cultural needs. With that request Saint Anthony's Parish was formed and served the needs of the Portuguese Immigrants until 1972, when its mission was expanded to serve the needs of all the people in East Falmouth.

The vital culture and the strong work ethic of the parishioners of Saint Anthony's have, since its beginning, characterized the faith and parish life of our community. Each year our numbers increase with summer parishioners and visitors and, together with our year-round parishioners, they enrich our community and deepen our faith and trust in God as they join us in prayer, worship, and community events.

Saint Anthony's is a dynamic faith community, grounded in love, respectful in worship, and embracing all who choose to join with us in praise of God.

Welcome to our website. We hope it answers your questions
